The Activities of Official Study for New Leaders and the Study of an Assistant Leader of Scouting Unit for Assistant Leaders of Scouting

The General Administration of Student Welfare - the Department of Scouting, Public Service, and Camps, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, organizes the official study for new leaders and the study of an assistant leader of scouting unit for assistant commanders of scouting at Kafrelsheikh University, under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports; Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University; Dr. Rushdy Al-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and Dr. Sobhy Siraj El-Din, Advisor of Scouting Committee, and the Implementation and follow up of scouting and public service management in the General Administration of Student Welfare at the university.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouki, President of the University, confirms that the University is keen to implement such studies to qualify university students to be male and female leaders capable of leading the future and assuming their responsibilities towards themselves, their families, and their communities, pointing out that students’ participation in scouting activities contributes positively to raising the values of volunteerism and public service, raising students’ morale, exchanging experiences, and developing the spirit of cooperation among them, in addition to refining the skills of self-reliance, leadership, and teamwork, calling on the students to cooperate, consolidate the bonds of brotherhood and friendship among them, and create harmony and love among them.

 

Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, confirms that scouting activity is one of the most important student activities that helps students how to coexist in any place, make sound decisions, serve others, be dedicated, build national awareness and community service, and work in a team, wishing success to the scouting clans at the university.
