Today, Saturday, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, witnesses the closing ceremony of the sixth stage program of the Child University at the university, in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific and Technological Research, within the Faculty of Specific Education, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouki, President of the University, and Dr. Gina El-Feki, Acting Head of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and under the supervision of Dr. Amira Okasha, General Coordinator of the program, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Naglaa Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and a group of staff members, child university students and their parents.
In his speech, Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, stresses that the Child University is a national project adopted by the Academy of Scientific and Technological Research in the field of non-formal creative science education and the discovery and embrace of distinguished child in the early stages of education, as it is one of the creative education programs produced by the Academy for all child and in successful partnership with Egyptian public, private and Ahlia universities with the support and interest of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, pointing out that the talent industry is a national project that nurtures creative minds to support scientific research and provides an incubating environment for innovators, whether they are affiliated with the Child University or from the various educational levels at the university, thanking the Academy of Scientific Research for adopting the idea and also thanking Dr. Amira Okasha, the program coordinator, and the university’s work team.
Dr. Amira Okasha, Program Coordinator, praises the interest and support of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, for the Child University Program as well as the efforts of all participants in the program. She added that the goal of the program is to get Child University students acquainted with the capabilities of the faculties and institutes at Kafrelsheikh University, due to the multiple opportunities it provides in all fields in the labor market, and the practice of cultural, sports, artistic and recreational activities, in addition to interactive activities through which they learn about many important topics, which stoke the spirit of belonging in child.
At the end of the closing ceremony of the Child University program, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, distributes certificates of appreciation to the trainers and children.
