The Deans Council

Today, Tuesday, the Council of Deans, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its monthly meeting to discuss and review the developments and monthly topics presented to the Council, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University, and the deans.

The President begins the work of the Council by following up the progress of the first semester exams for the academic year 2023/2024, and stressing the provision of an appropriate climate for students while taking the exams and the necessity of full compliance with the instructions and guidelines followed within the committees to achieve the maximum degree of discipline, stressing the speedy completion of the correction work and the announcement of the results.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky discusses Kafrelsheikh University’s readiness to participate in the Best Environmentally Friendly University competition for the academic year 2024/2025, stressing the university’s keenness to pay attention to activating the sustainable development goals, and within the framework of the initiatives and projects that the university has implemented that protect the environment, preserves it, enhances environmental awareness among members of the university community and surroundings, and the university continues to innovate solutions that thwart environmental challenges within the university’s strategy, achieve sustainable development goals, and build the new republic.

The President also directs the necessity of continuing work towards linking scientific research with industry by benefiting from the outcomes of scientific research, to reach innovations that can be implemented industrially, stressing the importance of linking the research product with industry, transforming research ideas into products with economic returns to society, and confronting the challenges facing economic growth, in order to achieve the state’s sustainable development goals (Egypt Vision 2030).

 

The Council of Deans also confirms the continued follow-up of the activity of the community service and environmental development sector, and its role in the field of literacy and adult education, as well as organizing and launching comprehensive development convoys to the villages most in need within the presidential initiative “A Dignified Life.”
