Today, Monday, the Deans Council holds its monthly meeting, headed by Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, to discuss and review the monthly developments and topics presented to the Council, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Al, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University, and the deans.
Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky stresses the follow-up on the readiness of the university and its various units to receive the new academic year 2023/2024, and the completion of all necessary preparations and equipment, within the framework of the university's strategy aimed at providing an academic environment that helps students excel.
The president also stresses the follow-up of the good workflow in the electronic coordination laboratories at the university to receive students of the first stage of coordination and the various stages of coordination, follow up on the student activities plan for the new academic year, ensure that it includes extensive visits to national projects, and encourage students to participate in the convoys organized by the university within the "Dignified Life" initiative.
The President directs the deans to follow up the activities (educational, awareness, and recreational) of the training camp for students in Baltim, and the participation of the Student Union in promoting these activities, and emphasizing the continuity of student activities in their various fields during the summer vacation, which helps to integrate positive energies and develop creative skills in a practical, non-academic way, and invest them in developing personal characteristics and enhancing belonging and identity.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky confirms the provision of possible means of support for the ambassadors of excellence and governmental excellence management teams in the faculties to obtain the files required for the university’s submission to the Government Excellence Award and its honorable appearance among Egyptian public universities.
At the conclusion of the Deans’ Council, the President stresses the need to update and provide the required data, which show the capabilities of the university and its distinguished programs to promote and market them during the seventh session of the Higher Education Exhibition, to be held during the period from 10-11 August, which is organized by Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
