The scouting team participates in the activities of the permanent camp of the university in Baltim resort, over a period of five days, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Rushdy Al-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and Dr. Safwa Shalaby, Director of the Scouting Department and Public Service at the General Administration of Youth Welfare.
Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, explains that the student activities sector at the university has a top priority as it is an essential and effective means and tool in building the students’ personality, within the framework of the project of building human beings and developing the Egyptian mind, indicating that the university spares no effort and is always working to provide all capabilities that help its students to compete in all competitions inside and outside the university.
For his part, Dr. Rushdy Al-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, explains that the university, through its summer activities for students and its support, aims to enhance students’ opportunities to practice sports, social and cultural activities in a positive environment, pointing out the university's keenness to bring about real and effective integration of students in all fields of education, culture and entertainment.
