Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, continues his inspection tours of the construction work of the general site of the emergency hospital, outpatient clinics, medical education, and equipment work in the University Oncology Hospital, to find out the latest developments in the construction condition and follow up the implementation stages of the project within the framework of the second phase of establishing the medical city at the university, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University, and officials of the National Contracting Company, the National Service Projects Organizations.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, adds that the construction works of the general site of the emergency hospital, outpatient clinics and medical education, and the equipment work in the University Oncology Hospital, are in full swing to be completed as soon as possible, in implementation of the directives of President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, who has attached great importance to the health sector as one of the most important files that serve the citizen, and many tangible achievements have been achieved in this file on the ground.
Prof. Dr. Abdel-Razek Desouki says that the work currently underway at the general site of the medical city includes fences, entrances, gates, and lighting to connect the emergency hospital, outpatient clinics, oncology center, and the main reservoir to each other, it is scheduled to end by the end of 2023.
