The Participation of Kafrelsheikh University in Government Excellence Award

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, the university holds today a training for the university’s internal excellence award management team within the  launch of the second phase of the internal awards system for universities, headed by Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abd El Salam, Director of Educational Institutions Awards for the Egypt Award for Government Excellence at the Ministry of Planning, and the membership of Dr. El-Sayed Bilal, Evaluation Officer; Dr. Swailem Sharshir, Operations and Logistics Support Officer; Dr. Amr Saad, Technical Support Officer, and Dr. Ramah Mohamed Ibrahim, Communications and Relations Officer.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, states that the university's participation in the Government Excellence Award is within the sustainable development plan "Egypt's Vision 2030", which requires the formation of an efficient and effective administrative body that in turn contributes to achieving competitiveness and quality of life and believing in the role of the Egyptian government in achieving the goals of the reform approach adopted by the state to advance our beloved Egypt, in order to bring about an awareness shift in institutional performance through the "Egypt Award for Government Excellence", in order to keep abreast of developments and the development of human capabilities through the existence of a national award for government excellence that encourages positive, effective and constructive competition and consolidates the principles and values of excellence in all sectors of the country, which reaps the fruits of our country in terms of progress, development, prosperity and support for institutional competitiveness.

 

Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, indicates that the Kafrelsheikh University Internal Award for Excellence, which includes the categories of the Best Faculty Award, targets the university's faculties, in addition to the two categories of team works and the innovative government initiative. The evaluation work is carried out according to the institutional excellence model, the most important of which are: achieving the vision and focusing on the main tasks, in addition to innovation, future foresight and governance.
