Today, Tuesday, the Council of Deans holds its monthly meeting, headed by Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, to discuss and review the monthly developments and issues presented to the Council, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University, and the deans of the faculties.
The university president starts the council with the university's preparations for the second semester exams, which are scheduled to start during the month of June, according to the nature of the study and exams in each faculty and according to the time map for the academic year 2022/2023 approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, taking into account the academic controls and standards that ensure the provision of a suitable and distinct university environment for students to perform exams, and guidance towards the completion of announcing schedules and preparing committees and halls.
The President directs the deans of the faculties to develop the remaining regulations for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, within the framework of the remarkable development in the university's programs, which includes a number of the latest, advanced, accurate and unique majors in various fields, which makes the graduates of the university's faculties the most capable of competing in the labor market and meeting its requirements.
Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky discusses the regulations governing holding scientific conferences, seminars and workshops in the various faculties and institutes of the university, and working on selecting distinguished topics to keep pace with global developments.
The Council of Deans also stresses the continued follow-up of the activity of the community service and environmental development sector, and its role in the field of literacy and adult education, as well as the organization and launch of comprehensive development convoys for the neediest villages within the presidential initiative, a dignified life.
