·         Raising the efficiency as well as developing teaching, research and administrative skills of the department.

·         Implementing the department's research plan and directing it to serve the community and develop the environment in accordance with the research policy of the college and university.

·         Developing the department's own resources to support its educational effectiveness and institutional capacity.
