The Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh says that the governorate is witnessing great interest from the President Abed El-Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, as it has witnessed, during the last 8 years, giant national projects, and projects that are underway in all sectors, whether health, housing, education, or the development of capital cities, and the presidential program “ A Dignified Life” in 18 villages and 187 affiliated centers in Motobas, to develop the Egyptian countryside and other service projects.

The Governor of Kafrelsheikh also praises the organization of the university and the Faculty of Specific Education for its conference in Hurghada, and the participation of Kafrelsheikh University in a medical convoy in Matrouh Governorate under the patronage of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister.

The council stresses that the university witnesses a great development and has become a giant edifice that includes all faculties, and is unique to some of them, such as “Artificial Intelligence”, “Nanotechnology” and “Fisheries”, and after it included 8 faculties, it includes now more than 22 faculties and three institutes.

The President stresses the implementation of the directives of President Abed El-Fattah El-Sisi, during his meeting with the Supreme Council of Universities, during his historic visit to Kafrelsheikh University, which included the establishment of a unit in each university to care for talented students, an executive plan for researches and studies in each university to serve development issues in the governorates, and intensification of awareness programs for university students, organizing technical competitions with the participation of all Egyptian universities, organizing field visits for students of faculties of Computers and Artificial Intelligence to new smart cities, activating the role of technological innovation centers and training centers at the universities to provide students and alumni with digital transformation skills.

The president also directs the vices of the president and deans of the faculties to be fully prepared to start the first semester exams while implementing all precautionary measures, taking into account the vaccination of students before the start of the exams, the application and the implementation of all precautionary and preventive measures during the examination period, in implementation of the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities, which decides that the student must receive the vaccination against Corona, a prerequisite for entering the exams at the end of the first semester of the current university year.

 

The president also stresses the participation in the "Dignified Life" initiative and interest of community service and environmental development activities, pointing to the discovery and care of talented students and innovators within the initiative, which includes implementing the state's directives in building the Egyptian person and raising awareness among students of the issues and efforts of the state in building the new republic.
