The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has completed its preparation for the Sixth International Scientific Conference, from 17 to 21 November 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky, President of the University and Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hasan Yunis, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty; the Conference Rapporteur, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Atef Helal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research and the General Coordinator of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Musa Ismail, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
The President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky explains that the sixth international scientific conference this year 2021, entitled "Veterinary Medicine and the Challenges of the Twenty-first Century", within the application of all precautionary measures.
As well, the president explains that the conference aims to encourage applied scientific research in the field of veterinary medicine, protect livestock and poultry wealth from incoming epidemic diseases, emphasize the safety and quality of foods of origin, and improve the national economy via the use of scientific research results to solve local problems.
Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty, says that the most important themes of the conference are modern strategies for the progress of livestock and poultry wealth within the Corona pandemic, and modern technologies in veterinary research and the progress of livestock and poultry wealth.
The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine adds that the conference includes general lectures and specialized seminars. On the sidelines of the conference, exhibitions of a number of drug companies - vaccines - supplies of veterinary clinics, laboratory equipment and farms will be held.
