President of Kafrelsheikh University Participates in the Supreme Council for Education and Student Affairs Meeting at Suez University

 Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, participated in the regular meeting of the Supreme Council for Education and Student Affairs, chaired by Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, and attended by Dr. Ashraf Hanygal, President of Suez University, along with the council members. The meeting was held at Suez University.

Dr. Ismail noted that at the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Refaat expressed his gratitude to the Suez University community, led by Dr. Ashraf Hanygal, for hosting the council meeting. He also congratulated Dr. Ezz El-Din El-Husseiny on his appointment as Vice President of Suez University for Education and Student Affairs, wishing him continued success in his new role. Additionally, he extended congratulations to the council members and the great people of Egypt on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October victories.

The Supreme Council for Education and Student Affairs also congratulated Dr. Ismail Ibrahim on his appointment as Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University.

Dr. Ismail explained that the council discussed a number of important topics, including the launch of the National Reading Project in its fifth year, implemented by the Scientific Research Foundation to support the quality of education.

The council also reviewed progress on implementing the National Strategy for Combating Drugs and Reducing the Risks of Addiction, launched under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic, with a special focus on the most dangerous types of synthetic drugs (GHB) and the repercussions of drug use and addiction.

In addition, the council reviewed a study on improving the quality of services in university dormitories, which included a questionnaire designed to measure service quality across Egyptian universities. The goal is to enhance the accommodation system and services offered to students in areas such as housing, nutrition, maintenance, cleanliness, security, and medical care.

The meeting also featured an awareness video highlighting the role of universities in addressing the phenomenon of street children, reflecting the humanitarian and social vision of the Supreme Council of Universities in tackling this issue.
