This campaign is held as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to raise community awareness about the importance of blood donation and to support the needs of university hospitals for blood bags, thereby contributing to saving patients’ lives and supporting the healthcare sector as a whole.

Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, confirms the university’s strong commitment to implementing community initiatives that promote a culture of giving and national responsibility among students. Otherwise, Prof. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, commends the level of awareness demonstrated by the students through their positive participation in the blood donation campaign. He confirms that military education is not limited to theoretical aspects, but also includes instilling the values of community participation and involvement in national and humanitarian activities.

He adds that the university always strives to provide an integrated educational environment that combines academic achievement with national and humanitarian development, through various activities that serve the community and prepare students to perform their future roles efficiently.

In the same context, Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Executive Director of University Hospitals, states that the blood donation campaign is part of a series of initiatives implemented by university hospitals in cooperation with various state institutions. He notes that these campaigns effectively contribute to supporting the blood bank’s reserves, especially amid increasing demand.

He confirms that similar campaigns will continue in the future to ensure a steady supply of blood and its derivatives for patients in need.
