Raising the Efficiency of the Administrative Apparatus via Specialized Training Programs

As part of the university’s keenness to develop administrative cadres and improve the quality of institutional performance, the university, represented by the International Center for Human Resources Management and Continuing Education, in cooperation with the Organization and Administration, is organizing a group of specialized training programs for the administrative apparatus, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ismail El-Qon, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Head of the Board of Directors of the Center.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms the great role of human resources in achieving institutional excellence for the university. Therefore, the university is keen to focus on developing the capabilities and skills of employees continuously to enhance the efficiency of its employees and improve the level of institutional performance.

Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, points out that these training programs are important for preparing human resources to hone their skills and administrative capabilities to achieve the university’s strategy in a way that achieves the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030, confirming the priority of developing the administrative apparatus in line with societal changes and technological developments.

 

Dr. Tarek Abd El-Rahman, Executive Director of the International Center for Human Resources Management, presents the first training day of the Institutional Change and Development Program, which targets 26 trainees from the administrative apparatus. He discusses the concept of institutional change and development, its importance, justifications and objectives in the context of universities, the types and questions of change, assessing the extent of readiness and preparedness for institutional change, and the most important indicators of the need for institutional change and development in universities.
