The University witnesses the Launch of the Activities of the Program “Women are leading in Kafrelsheikh Governorate”

 Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, states that the issue of empowering Egyptian women and their obtaining their full rights has witnessed tremendous progress, via many unprecedented privileges, and there is no longer a ceiling on their ambition, especially in light of the presence of a supportive political will. Over the past 10 years under the rule of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, new horizons have been opened for women that were not available to them before, paving the way for them to participate widely in all economic, political, social and cultural sectors. The President believes in the importance of the role and support of women and is keen to give her the opportunity she deserves to prove herself, her status, and her ability to work and fight for the future and advancement of her country.

In this context, the university receives today, Sunday, Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, Major General Staff Ehab Hamed, Advisor of the Executive Director of the National Academy for Government Relations, and Amr El-Bashbishi, Deputy Governor of Kafrelsheikh, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the Rapporteur of the National Council for Women, Kafrelsheikh Branch, Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University, and Dr. Rushdy Al-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities, number of deans, members of the Senate and House of Representatives, security and executive leaders in the governorate, representatives of Al-Azhar and the church, members of the National Council for Women, staff members and the assistant staff, male and female students of the university, and those challenging the disability, youth and sports, to hold an introductory symposium on (Women are Leading in the Egyptian Governorates) Program within the programs of the National Training Academy in cooperation with the governorate.

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, welcomes the honorable attendees at the university, and points out that Egyptian women did not hesitate to make sacrifices. Therefore, empowering Egyptian women in various fields of life is a national commitment that preserves society’s balance, stability, and progress. It has played and continues to play important roles in shaping Egypt's past, present and future. The integration between the various state authorities, executive, legislative and judicial, supports the presence of women at the heart of the national action process.

 

Major General Staff Ehab Hamed, Advisor of the Executive Director of the National Academy for Government Relations, indicates that the National Training Academy launches the “Women are leading” program to support women’s skills and train them in the necessary skills, which are compatible with the requirements of the labor market, which provides them with broader opportunities for recruitment and joining jobs. The National Training Academy is considered an intellectual stimulant and an incubator for transformative progress for human development. The National Training Academy's mission is to alleviate the existing gap in leadership skills, as the Academy works to create a critical mass of technocratic leaders based on the professional foundations of leadership and management, which are sought and needed by various tasks and positions.
