Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms that the University Center for Professional Development at the university aims to develop and refine students' employability skills and qualify them for the modern labor market, during his reception of the University Center for Professional Development team at the university today, Wednesday 12/7/2022, headed by Prof. Dr. Alaa Ghazi, Director of the Center; Dr. Osama Wafa, a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and a senior specialist in professional development at the center; Dr. Ahmed Selim, a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and responsible for employment and relations with business owners; Dr. Mutasem Deraz, Assistant Lecturer of Computers and Information and Data and Information Specialist at the Center; Dr. Muhammad Ghalah, Demonstrator at the Faculty of Engineering and Professional Development Specialist, and Dr. Mona El Madawy, Training Officer.

The president explains that the University Center for Professional Development at the university is carried out in cooperation with the American University in Cairo and the United States Agency for International Development, and aims to qualify university students, enhance their professionalism and competitiveness, help them find job opportunities, and start their own entrepreneurship projects, which will have a positive impact on the people of Kafrelsheikh Governorate, as well as achieving sustainable development.

Dr. Desouky discusses with the work team at the University Center for Professional Development at the university the mechanism of the center's work, the future plan, and the preparation for the celebration of the end of the first courses of the university center, which implements a set of free training courses.

 

Prof. Dr. Alaa Ghazi, Director of the University Center for Professional Development, says that the meeting discusses the sustainable plan for the continuation of the work of the center, the expansion of the services provided by the center, the continuation of the organization and implementation of specialized training courses for students and graduates, and the provision of training services to develop and refine the employment skills of members of the administrative staff.
