The "Dignified Life" Initiative continues its Activities in the Faculties.. A seminar at the Faculty of Commerce to enhance Volunteer Work Efforts

Today, Thursday, 17/11/2022, under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, the Faculty of Commerce organizes a symposium entitled "Enhancing Voluntary Work Efforts for University Youth in the Presidential Initiative “a Dignified Life”", with the participation of Islam Gabr, a member of the Dignified Life Foundation and coordinator of the initiative in Kafrelsheikh Governorate, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Postgraduate Studies Research - General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University.

The Dean of the Faculty welcomes the attendees and says that the symposium aims to disseminate the culture of volunteer work among the youth of the faculty, in addition to organizing field visits to projects that are being implemented in various villages and centers of the Republic.

 

The symposium includes an introductory video presentation on the main initiative "A Dignified Life", to educate young people about the initiative. The lecturers review the achievements of the initiative since its inception in 2019, the participation of more than 23 governmental organization and civil society, the mechanism of work in the targeted villages until all work is completed, the most vulnerable groups and the most vulnerable families, youth, sport, agriculture, environment, irrigation, the axis of lining canals, sanitation and drinking water, the axis of human building, the axis of economic empowerment, the importance of volunteers, how to volunteer and participate in this comprehensive initiative and their importance as volunteers in each village to identify the eligible in each village, and to define the community and its groups of youth, women, children and the elderly with a dignified life and the extent of clear benefit in the villages.
