Prof. Abdelrazek Dosouky, the President of the University, announces that the central units for information systems and technology at the university launches a unified service platform, with the aim of automating the services provided by the central units to students, staff members, postgraduate students and employees.
The president indicates that the digital platform for unified electronic services includes the automation of all the work of the central units of information systems and technology at the university, and the services of the central unit of management information systems, the central unit of the university’s electronic portal, the central unit for training in information technology, the central unit of e-learning, the electronic tests center.
The president confirms that the launch of the platform coincides with Kafrelsheikh University’s keeping pace with ways to implement digital transformation initiatives, and to achieve the Egyptian state’s vision of applying digital transformation frameworks, digitization and joining smart fourth generation universities, referring to the directive of activating the platform’s services and make it available to all Kafrelsheikh University’s affiliates of students and staff members.
He adds that the platform also contributes to the services of training project on the information technology, as citizens inside and outside the university can send requests for obtaining training courses specialized in digital transformation via the platform, and communicate directly with the project management to facilitate the process of joining the training, noting that the unified platform for the services of the Kafrelsheikh University information center is one of the first specialized electronic platforms.
