Within the initiative to encourage Women's Self-employment…..Training "101" of "Students and Graduates" at Kafrelsheikh University

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Reda Saleh, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the supervision of the Supreme Council of Universities headed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Latif, and within the initiative to encourage women’s self-employment presented by International Microsoft Company in cooperation with the Care Foundation for Development under the supervision of the Supreme Council of Universities in cooperation with Kafrelsheikh University, and in coordination with Eng. Medhat El Mahalawy, the initiative coordinator, the university implements a training course under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Kamel, during which 101 female “students - graduates” trainees were trained. The training includes familiarization with personal branding, relationship networks, project management, platform management, sales skills, pricing, and settlement Disputes, legal understanding, client management, and Microsoft-accredited certificates are awarded to students enrolled in the course.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, states that the initiative of encouraging women’s self-employment presented by Microsoft Egypt and Care Egypt for Development under the supervision of the Supreme Council of Universities aims to help girls and women and targets the age group from 18 to 35 years and works to enhance capabilities and acquire skills to learn about the free labor market and view the available jobs and electronic platforms that contribute to qualifying for the labor market and obtaining self-employment opportunities.

 

The Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Reda Saleh, confirms that the implementation of the initiative to encourage women’s self-employment comes as an activation of training activities on modern technologies in Egyptian universities, to develop and qualify Egyptian universities’ students and graduates and integrate them into the labor market to achieve a material resource that guarantees them a decent life via work, by training them in technological skills, business management skills and personal skills.
