In a new cultural and literary achievement added to the record of excellence of Kafrelsheikh University students, the student Attia Abdel Latif Eid from the Faculty of Nursing wins the second place in the Second Poetry Forum for Delta Region Universities. The event is organized by Tanta University and held at the Tanta University camp in the city of Baltim, with the participation of a number of Egyptian university students who possess poetic and literary talents.
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid affirms that the university attaches great importance to cultural and literary activities, considering them one of the fundamental components in building the integrated personality of the university student. He points out that supporting student talents is not limited to discovering them, but also extends to providing platforms that enable their owners to express their creativity and compete in university forums.
The President adds that student Attia Abdel Latif Eid’s achievement of second place in a poetry forum that includes students from Delta Region universities represents an honorable model of the ability of Kafrelsheikh University students to excel in various fields. He confirms that the university will continue to encourage its students to read, create, and participate in cultural and literary events, which contributes to discovering more young talents and refining their abilities.
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid notes that culture and awareness represent an important pillar in building the human being, and that the university is keen, through its cultural and intellectual activities, to strengthen Egyptian identity and consolidate the values of dialogue, acceptance of others, and conscious thinking, thereby contributing to preparing a generation that possesses knowledge, awareness, and the ability to express and create.
For his part, Prof. Rushdy Shawky El-Adawy, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and General Coordinator of Student Activities, expresses his happiness with this achievement. He affirms that one of the university’s students obtaining second place in a poetry forum that brings together student talents from Delta Region universities reflects the diverse creative abilities possessed by Kafrelsheikh University students, and confirms the importance of student activities in discovering and developing these talents.
This achievement is within the framework of Kafrelsheikh University’s keenness to enhance the role of student activities as an integral part of the educational process, and to open the way for students to express their talents in the fields of poetry, literature, culture, and the arts, enriching their university experience and giving them real opportunities to compete and interact with their peers from various Egyptian universities.
