Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University, chairs the meeting of the Council of Laboratories and University Facilities. The meeting is held within the framework of the university’s keenness to develop the research and educational infrastructure, follow up plans to modernize laboratories and university facilities, and contribute to elevating the quality of the educational process and scientific research, while strengthening the university’s competitiveness at the local, regional, and international levels.
During the meeting, the council discusses several topics related to developing laboratories and labs across the university’s various faculties, raising the efficiency of the research infrastructure, providing the latest scientific equipment and technologies, following up periodic maintenance work, and applying the highest standards of quality, safety, and security inside laboratories and university facilities. This aims to ensure a comprehensive educational and research environment that supports creativity and innovation.
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid affirms that Kafrelsheikh University places the development of laboratories and university facilities at the forefront of its priorities, considering them the main pillar for building a modern educational and research system. This system is capable of preparing qualified cadres who possess the knowledge and skills necessary to compete in the job market, while supporting researchers and enabling them to conduct applied scientific research with developmental impact that serves the community and the state.
He adds that the university is proceeding according to a clear strategic vision that aims to establish and develop smart and integrated laboratories relying on the latest global systems and technologies. This will enhance the quality of education and scientific research outcomes, improve academic and research performance efficiency, and keep pace with the requirements of the New Republic and Egypt Vision 2030 in building a knowledge- and innovation-based economy.
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid points out that the university administration pays great attention to preserving university assets and facilities and maximizing their benefit, while fully adhering to quality and accreditation standards. It also provides a safe and stimulating work environment for students, researchers, and faculty members, thereby strengthening Kafrelsheikh University’s position as a leading academic and research institution.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid directs the swift implementation of the recommendations issued by the council and the follow-up of achievement rates according to the specified timelines.
