The President praises Creative Works of Educational Media Students at the Faculty of Specific Education

In line with Kafrelsheikh University’s commitment to supporting student creativity and enhancing the role of applied projects in preparing qualified cadres capable of meeting the demands of the era, Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of the University, reviews the diverse media projects presented by the 32nd batch of students from the Educational Media Department at the Faculty of Specific Education. These projects reflect a distinguished level of professional and creative awareness in addressing societal and developmental issues through modern media and journalistic tools.

The President affirms that what the students of the Educational Media Department presents reflects the success of the educational system at the university in preparing generations equipped with knowledge, awareness, and the ability to use modern media tools in a positive and purposeful manner. He points out that media has become one of the most important tools for building societies, shaping awareness, and guiding public opinion.

Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid adds that the media, journalistic, and artistic projects he witnessed confirm that Kafrelsheikh University students possess distinguished capabilities and promising creative energies that deserve all support and care. The students present comprehensive works that reflect genuine awareness of societal issues and sustainable development, along with the ability to address diverse topics using professional media methods that keep pace with the rapid developments in the media field.

For her part, Prof. Naglaa Hosni Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, expresses her pride and appreciation for the outstanding level shown by the fourth-year students. She confirms that this stage represents the harvest of years of effort, work, and learning, and that the faculty will continue to support its graduates and provide them with all forms of care even after graduation.

The event featured the display of a large number of diverse journalistic and media projects presented by the students under the supervision of various academic teams. Among them is the newspaper “Echo of the University,” which is issued annually by the Educational Media Department. It relies on accurate coverage of the university and faculty’s news and activities, crafted according to professional journalistic editing standards, along with the selection of expressive photos for various events.

The attendees also present a variety of magazines, including the University Magazine, which highlights the most prominent university news; the “Hayat Kareema” Magazine, which covers joint initiatives with the Hayat Kareema Foundation; the Artificial Intelligence Magazine, which discussed AI applications in media and journalism; the Youth Magazine, which addressed issues related to university youth; and the Sustainable Development Magazine, which spotlighted the most important developmental initiatives and projects.

 

The projects also include two documentary films. The first focuses on the New Administrative Capital through the eyes of Educational Media students, while the second addresses the Hayat Kareema projects in the villages of Kafrelsheikh Governorate and their role in improving quality of life and achieving development in the most needy areas.
