The President chairs Distinguished Programs Council Meeting in April 2026 to follow up Educational Development

Prof. Yahya Eid, President of the University, chairs the meeting of the Distinguished Programs Council in April 2026, within the framework of the university’s commitment to developing its distinguished educational programs system and enhancing graduates’ competitiveness.

During the meeting, ways to develop distinguished programs across the university’s various faculties are reviewed, in line with the requirements of the local, regional, and international labor markets. Mechanisms for updating academic regulations were also discussed, along with expanding interdisciplinary programs and modern specializations that meet future needs.

The council also discusses the importance of supporting innovation in the educational process and activating partnerships with international universities and institutions. This aims to improve students’ competencies and develop their practical and applied skills, in addition to studying proposals for introducing new credit-hour-based programs in several faculties.

Prof. Yahya Eid confirms that Kafrelsheikh University places great importance on distinguished programs as a key pillar in developing university education. He notes that these programs contribute to preparing graduates capable of competing in the labor market and keeping pace with rapid technological advancements.

He adds that the university continues to update and develop its academic programs according to the latest international standards, enhancing its academic standing and supporting the state’s direction toward advancing the higher education system. He also confirms the importance of integrating academic and practical aspects within these programs.

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, the President confirms the continued development and expansion of distinguished programs in line with global changes, contributing to the preparation of qualified human cadres capable of innovation and creativity, in support of sustainable development goals and Egypt’s national vision.
