The team of staff members from Kafrelsheikh University achieves a remarkable sporting accomplishment by winning the first place and the championship cup in the Ramadan Tournament for five-a-side football (futsal) for staff members and administrative staff. The tournament is held at the covered hall in the Olympic Village at Mansoura University. The university’s participation is sponsored by Prof. Yahya Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University, and Prof. Amany Mohamed Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
In this context, Prof. Yahya Eid, President of the University, expresses his pride and appreciation for this achievement. He confirms that the success of the staff members’ team represents an honorable model that reflects the excellence of the university’s affiliates in various fields — not only academically, but also in sports activities.
Otherwise, Prof. Amany Mohamed Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, affirms that this victory is the culmination of continuous efforts to support sports activities within the university. She praises the honorable performance of the team, which reflects the spirit of cooperation and positivity among the staff members. She adds that such events contribute to strengthening human relations and exchanging experiences between Egyptian universities, thereby supporting the university work system in general.
It is worth noting that Kafrelsheikh University’s team is crowned champion after a strong and distinguished performance throughout the tournament. The players demonstrate a high technical level and outstanding sportsmanship, reflecting the harmony and cooperation among the staff members, as well as their determination to achieve victory and raise the university’s name in sporting events.
The tournament also witnesses remarkable brilliance from the team’s players, who win several individual awards. Dr. Mohamed Abd Allah wins the award for Best Goalkeeper, Dr. Ahmed Mabrouk wins the award for Best Player of the Tournament, and Dr. Hasan Ragheb claims the title of Top Scorer. This achievement reflects both individual and collective excellence within the team.
