Acting University President Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim inspects the activities of the blood donation campaign organized by students of the Military Education course at the University Hospital, as part of supporting the healthcare system and instilling values of volunteer work and social responsibility among students.
During his tour, Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim praises the notable turnout of Military Education students for blood donation, affirming that these initiatives reflect genuine national awareness among Kafrelsheikh University students, embody a spirit of belonging and giving, and contribute directly to supporting the university hospital's needs for blood units, especially for critical cases, cancer patients, and children.
Otherwise, Prof. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, explains that such campaigns reflect the integration between the university's academic and community roles. She affirms that the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector strongly supports initiatives that promote a culture of volunteering and humanitarian work, given their positive impact on both society and students.
Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, points out that blood donation is one of the noblest forms of humanitarian work due to its vital role in saving lives, in addition to its health benefits for donors. He explains that the university hospitals are committed to applying the highest medical safety standards during donation processes.
In the same context, Dr. Hany Hamed, Executive Director of the University Hospitals, affirms that the university hospital provides all necessary medical and human resources to ensure the campaign's success, praising the fruitful organization and cooperation between the hospitals administration and the Military Education Department.
Dr. Jamal Shams, Director of the University Hospital, clarifies that the campaign includes organizing an awareness seminar to highlight the importance of blood donation and its health and humanitarian benefits, contributing to raising awareness and encouraging students to continue effective community participation.
For his part, Colonel Mahmoud Salah El-Din, Director of the Military Education Department at the university, affirms that the participation of Military Education students in this campaign is within the framework of the national and community role undertaken by military education. He notes that the students demonstrate commitment, discipline, and awareness that reflect the honorable image of Kafrelsheikh University students.
