Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, conducts an inspection tour of the University Hospital. During the visit, he inspects the surgical intensive care unit, cardiac intensive care unit, oncology department, dialysis unit, endoscopy unit, and laboratories, to ensure the quality of medical services provided to all patients, monitor workflow at the hospital, and review ongoing maintenance and renovation works.
Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, states that the University pays great attention to all healthcare services provided by Kafrelsheikh University Hospital to citizens alike, within the framework of the University’s societal role, in line with the Egyptian state’s vision to improve the healthcare system nationwide. He confirms the continuity of providing the highest levels of medical care for all inpatients until their full recovery and safe return to their families. He also highlights the importance of physicians’ prompt presence and responsiveness in their specialties to save patients’ lives, in addition to the constant need for strict hygiene, ongoing maintenance, and adherence to all precautionary measures.
Otherwise, Prof. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, confirms that the University Hospital is one of the main pillars in serving the local community. She points out that the University seeks to strengthen its societal role through medical convoys and awareness activities, in parallel with the therapeutic services provided within the hospital.
Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, explains that the Faculty integrates clinical training for students with actual medical services at the hospital, ensuring the graduation of highly qualified physicians capable of assuming professional responsibilities and serving patients according to the highest quality standards.
It is worth mentioning that the outpatient clinics at Kafrelsheikh University Hospital receive about 1,500 patients daily, offering distinguished medical services to patients from Kafrelsheikh Governorate and neighboring governorates in all specialties. The hospital includes 434 beds, 64 intensive care unit beds, and 13 capsule-system operating rooms, which are among the most advanced worldwide. The hospital is also equipped with the latest and most accurate modern medical devices in accordance with global standards, ensuring the delivery of outstanding healthcare services.
