The University Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session today, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the latest developments and topics presented to the Council.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky reviews the most important topics for the university's sectors, starting with the Education and Students’ Affairs Sector, the Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector, and the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, for April 2025, and the numerous events, seminars, and meetings held during that period.
The President also confirms the need to take all necessary measures for the examination process, starting with announcing the students' examination schedules on time, completing all the necessary measures and preparations for the examinations, and reminding staff members, the assistant staff, and the administrative staff of the need to be regular throughout the examination period and until its completion with ease and comfort, to facilitate the process for all university students, wishing them continued success.
The Council also approves:
- Granting academic titles and appointments: (6 professors, 4 assistant professors, 3 lecturers).
- Granting master's degrees to 18 researchers and doctoral degrees to 8 researchers.
- Granting professional master's degrees to 24 researchers and professional doctoral degrees to 15 researchers.
- Granting postgraduate diplomas for the specialized postgraduate programs at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
