Today, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the Council of Deans, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the latest developments and topics presented to the Council.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, begins the Deans' Council session by expressing his great pleasure at participating in the French-Egyptian Forum, held on the sidelines of the French President's visit to Egypt. He praises the pioneering efforts made to promote the higher education and scientific research system by opening the way for further cooperation and partnerships between higher education institutions in Egypt and major international scientific institutions in France.
The president also confirms the importance of monitoring the good conduct of the educational process and discussing preparations for the exams scheduled to be held according to the timetable approved by the Supreme Council of Universities. He also confirms that the university is working hard to provide all the quality elements required by the educational process. The university is also keen to assist its students through its full commitment to creating a suitable environment and providing a stimulating and supportive academic environment for excellence and creativity.
The President also confirms the need to intensify artistic, cultural, sports and other competitions that are in line with students' desires and to work on presenting performances for the winning teams, in addition to holding workshops to develop students' skills in all fields, encouraging innovative student projects and providing all necessary support, confirming the importance of the University's continued support and discovery of talented, brilliant and innovative students, providing them with all necessary support, receiving their research and innovative ideas, and working on developing them, in a way that contributes to transforming their innovative ideas into competitively marketable products, and helping to create marketing opportunities for them.
The Council of Deans also discusses the importance of scientific research with economic returns, in implementation of the objectives of the National Policy for Sustainable Innovation and the presidential initiative "Alliance and Development" within the launch of the National Innovation Policy, and work to organize competitions to discover talent and geniuses in the fields of artificial intelligence and information technology.
The Council also follows up the University's efforts to launch comprehensive development convoys for the most needy villages, as part of the University's role in contributing to the implementation of the state's plan and the political leadership's directives to build generations capable of keeping pace with the serious steps taken by the Egyptian state to build the modern state and contribute to achieving its goals in accordance with Egypt's Vision 2030, and in belief of the University's role in serving the community within the villages of Kafrelsheikh Governorate.
