Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, makes a four-day official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, as part of the University's ongoing efforts to promote innovation and develop entrepreneurial capabilities among its students and staff members.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, states that the visit includes a number of prominent academic and industrial institutions, including Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, ranked among the top ten German universities in the field of supporting start-up projects, in addition to the company "Senova" in Weimer, which specializes in the manufacture of smart detectors and sensors used in the rapid diagnosis of diseases and biomarkers in human, veterinary, and environmental samples.
During the visit, the president confirms that a joint cooperation agreement is signed between Kafrelsheikh University and Friedrich Schiller University, aiming to exchange academic and research expertise, activate exchange programs for students and staff members, and implement joint academic and research projects in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky notes that the visit results in a preliminary agreement to cooperate with Senova in the areas of technology transfer and the development of smart nano-detectors enhanced with artificial intelligence technologies, which can be used via smartphone applications to diagnose diseases. The agreement also provides distinguished training opportunities for students within the company's laboratories.
