The University's participation in the "Egyptian Identity Ambassadors" program at the Leadership Camp in Helwan

The university participates in the "Egyptian Identity Ambassadors" program organized by the Egyptian Union of Universities’ Students in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, at the Leadership Camp in Helwan, within the framework of the directives of the President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to launch the National Human Development Project (A New Beginning for Human Building), under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and the implementation and supervision of Mr Ehab Gad, Director of the Student Welfare Department.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms the importance of these programs in qualifying university students and refining their personalities, pointing out that the university always seeks to develop its students in various fields, which contributes to preparing them to be future leaders, adding that the role of youth is not limited to participation only, but extends to include creativity, innovation and presenting new ideas that contribute to solving the challenges facing society.

Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, points out that the camp is attended by a group of distinguished students from various faculties of the university, as they undergo a number of workshops and lectures that address topics about Egyptian identity and the importance of preserving cultural heritage, in addition to training them in leadership skills and teamwork.

 

In the same context, the participating students express their appreciation for this unique experience that helps them enhance their sense of belonging to their homeland and gain a deeper understanding of their cultural identity, confirming that they will seek to transfer what they have learned to their colleagues at the university and in the community.
