During his Presidency of the Council of Deans: The President confirms the Continuation of providing Support to Talented, Brilliant and Innovative Students

Today, Tuesday, 8/10/2024, The Council of Deans, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the developments and topics presented to the Council.

The Council of Deans discusses following up the educational process for the new academic year 2024/2025 in the university’s faculties and institutes according to the announced timetable, and confirms that work is proceeding at full speed according to the comprehensive plan, and that the university always keeps in mind the interest of the university student, and works hard to provide the necessary means of support and care. The president also directs the rapid completion of issuing new cards for students, and following up the collection of tuition fees for the university’s faculties.

The President directs the Council of Deans to continue providing support to talented, brilliant and innovative students, and to work on adopting and developing their research ideas, and implementing awareness and educational seminars for students to confront misconceptions and destructive ideas that conflict with tolerant religious beliefs and moderate cultural and societal legacies.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky also confirms the continuation and intensification of organizing awareness convoys with the aim of combating and preventing the phenomena of illegal immigration and human trafficking within the framework of the university’s social responsibility, and the continuation of the efforts made in the “100 Million Trees” and “A New Beginning for Human Building” initiatives in implementation of the presidential directives.

 

The President also directs the Deans Council to follow up the work of activating renewable energy projects within the framework of implementing the recommendations of the procedures and disseminating the culture of rationalizing energy and improving the efficiency of its use in universities.
