A Veterinary Convoy to the Village Nashirat in Qallin Center, as part of the Presidential Initiative, Dignified Life

Today, Monday 1/7/2024,the university launches, a veterinary convoy to the Village Nashirat and the neighboring villages in Qallin Center, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, and Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, within the framework of the presidential initiative "Dignified Life", to develop the Egyptian countryside, in cooperation with the Dignified Life Foundation, and in continuation of the series of convoys launched by the university in villages across the governorate, within the framework of the university’s role in contributing to the implementation of the state’s plan and the directives of the political leadership to build generations capable of keeping pace with the serious steps of the Egyptian state in building the modern state and contributing to achieving its goals in accordance with Vision 2030.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms that the University administration has developed a plan to contribute to the presidential program for developing the Egyptian countryside “Dignified Life” by launching a number of free veterinary medical convoys, with the aim of developing the animal wealth, adding that the success of these convoys confirms the great demand for the services provided by the University to them.

Otherwise, Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, points out that the university is keen to implement these convoys periodically, within the framework of the pivotal role played by the university in serving the community, with the aim of supporting the practical aspect of the faculty students and confirming the positive societal role that the university plays.

 

Dr. Bassiouni Heleil, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, adds that the convoy includes treatment teams in various clinical specialties (veterinary surgery - obstetrics and infertility diseases - internal diseases and infectious diseases - poultry diseases).
