During the Deans Council: The President confirms the Regularity of the Educational Process and the Start of preparing the Faculties for Practical and Theoretical Exams for the Second Semester 2023/202

Today, Tuesday, the Council of Deans, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its monthly meeting to discuss and review the developments and monthly topics presented to the Council, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University, the Deans, and Mr Ayman Al-Saeed, Director General of the President’s Office.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms the start of preparing the faculties for the practical and theoretical exams for the second semester 2023/2024 in accordance with the time map approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, and confirms taking into account the specifications of the examination paper in accordance with the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, emphasizing the commitment to forming committees of examiners and graders in accordance with Law No. (49) of 1972 regarding the organization of universities and its executive regulations, and emphasizing that staff members are not allowed to travel during the examination period.

The President also confirms rationalizing spending and working to increase the internal resources of the faculties and units, encouraging applied scientific research to solve societal problems and the problems of the industrial sector, applying for funding for research projects from local and international sources, and encouraging the signing of cooperation protocols with companies, factories, and executive and community institutions.

The Council of Deans discusses the necessity of paying attention to student activities, especially with regard to the national strategy for building the Egyptian person and the Egyptian family, and confirming the university’s social responsibility and supporting the activities of veterinary and agricultural medical convoys and comprehensive convoys in cooperation with the Dignified Life Initiative for the neediest villages.

 

The Council also discusses the need to pay attention to international rankings, which reflect the quality of the educational process and work to attract many students from all countries of the world, as well as contributing to improving the scientific research system, work to create and develop scientific journals for the various faculties and institutes, work to have them participate in international publishing houses to enter the global ranking of periodicals and contribute to supporting self-resources, maximizing the benefit from units of a special nature, developing their performance, and marketing their productive, consulting, and training services.
