The President receives the Accreditation Committee team from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education to accredit the Faculty of Medicine

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, receives the Accreditation Committee team from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, within the framework of the scheduled field visit to the Faculty of Medicine to obtain accreditation, headed by Dr. Mona Sayed Muhammad Sayed Ghali, and the membership of Dr. Eman Badawi Abdel Fattah Al-Shall, Dr. Mona Hamdi Hassan Mahmoud Al-Ashry, Dr. Muhammad Sabry Muhammad Bahjat, and Dr. Amira Hasan Muhammad Omar, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Dr. Muhammad Abu Wali, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the university; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University; Dr. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and the team of the faculty’s Accreditation Committee.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, welcomes the team of the Accreditation Committee of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, praising the Authority’s efforts to achieve the goals of the comprehensive development plan that it targets and apply quality standards out of belief in the importance of the role that comprehensive quality plays to improve and develop the performance of institutions of higher education and scientific research, confirming the university’s keenness to improve the teaching, research and training skills of staff members and their assistant staff and to raise the level of quality of educational programs in accordance with local, regional and international requirements, explaining the university’s role in providing all means of material and moral support to promote the medical sector to prepare a distinguished doctor capable of competing in the labor market locally, regionally and internationally and serving the local community by providing distinguished medical service.

Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, indicates that Kafrelsheikh University is keen to provide all types of support to the faculties to complete quality systems and renew accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. The university also adopts academic standards that are compatible with development needs and in line with the university’s new strategic plan, the state’s directions, and Egypt’s Vision 2030, stressing that the university administration has provided all the necessary requirements for the Faculty of Medicine to be approved, as technical support plans have been developed by the university’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center to ensure that the faculty achieves the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.

After the meeting, the Accreditation Committee team from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education go to the Faculty of Medicine to conduct a field visit and inspect all departments in the faculty and the university hospital. The committee praises the distinguished role played by the university, represented by the Faculty of Medicine, to serve students, advance the health sector, and smoothly conduct the educational process at the faculty.
