The Terms of Nomination for State, Nile and Excellence Prizes and Awards.

1. The nomination for these prizes should be through organization council with the date of council and its number in which the nomination was decided.
2. The nomination should be within the range of organization specialism and it should be one candidate for any branch specialized for these prizes.
3. The candidate should be alive in the time of nomination.
4. He/she should have books or works published before.
5. The nomination should be sent to the supreme council of culture (1 Gabalaya Street in Opera, el Gazeera, and Cairo) until 31 December 2012.
6. The rules indicate that the nominations will not be presented to specialized committees except if they meet the terms.
7. The organizations send the names of nominations with selected models of candidates’ works ( maximum five works) plus nomination justification, biography and personal data (at most ten papers on disk or CD) with written consent from candidate contain his/her approval for nomination. This approval is a part of papers with a copy of national ID card.

In addition to these terms, the nominations of Nile prizes are:
