1. Dr. Maged EL kemary Kafr el Shikh University
president signed a joint protocol of cooperation with the University of
Sterling, United Kingdom to study preventive behavior to improve and develop
the production of tilapia.
Kemary accompanied by a delegation toured the Faculty of Fisheries facilities,
packaging and processing factory and fish
ponds of the fish farm "Professor
David" head of the delegation pointed that Egypt is the second in the world in
aquaculture, through the joint venture protocol between Shaikh University and
the Sterling University signing United Kingdom in collaboration with the World
Bank for the fish and the Cooperative Union of aquaculture so as to improve the
health conditions of fish and increase productivity and food safety to meet the
food gap in Egypt and assign Shaikh University as home of experience of fish
farming in Egypt and in Africa as a whole.
The
delegation praised the potential of research, scientific and construction of
the university. As for, the president of the university he welcomed the
cooperation within all scientific and research institutions to cooperate in all
fields of aquaculture technology, in
Faculty of Aquatic and Fisheries science, encouraging the training of university faculty members on
the latest scientific and technological means in fish farming and manufacturing
science to cope with the modern scientific requirements.
