The
president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary has witnessed on Wednesday 3/8/2016 the
honoring ceremony of the graduates of the Faculty of Engineering held in
central auditorium of the university in the presence of the vice president for
community service and environment development affairs Prof Dr Ali Abu Shoshaa;
the vice president for education and studnets’ affairs Prof Dr Abed el Raziq
Dousouky; the dean of the Faculty of Engineering Dr Mahmoud Nemaa Allah and Eng
Abed el Sami Youssef, captain of Engineers at Kafrelsheikh.
The ceremony
began with a minute of silence for the spirit of the great Egyptian scientist
Ahmed Zewail who passed away in the United States of America and the recitation
of Ayat of Holy Quran at the beginning of the ceremony.
From his
part, the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary has stressed that the year 2016 is
the turning point in the history of the university and its development for
excellence at the regional, local and international level thanks to the support
of the state and loyal people of the province pointing out that the university
is making great strides in the system of education and scientific research as
it becomes 17 faculties after the addition of the Faculty of Languages.
As well, el
Kemary has added that the university has achieved the dream of people of the province
which is long overdue for more than 25 years and it is the establishment of the
new university hospital prepared to be opened this month for the reception of
patients, provide distinct medical service and participate in supporting the
sector of health in the province pointing out that the hospital is equipped
according to the international medical equipment.
The
president called on the graduates of the Faculty of Engineering to meet their
responsibilities and to be ambassadors for their university by diligence,
perseverance, loyalty, honesty, asking alumni for permanent contact with the
university through the association of alumni, post-graduation and continuous
education by constructive opinions and enlightened thinking in favor of
supporting the education system and scientific research.
At the end
of the ceremony, the students granted the alumni shield for the president, the
dean of the Faculty of Engineering and captain of Engineers in recognition and
honor for them.
