Seminar was held in Accounting Department to discuss the projects suggested for registration of Master’s Degree in the presence of administrators and assistant lecturers as well as large number of post-graduate students.

 

First, Dr Ali Mogahid, the head of Accounting Department, delivers a welcome speech for the attendees.

 

The seminar begins with the discussion of topics presented from:

 

·         The researcher Sara Mustafa el Tantawy

 

The research title:

 

“Determinants of Disclosure about risks in annual reports for companies listed in Egyptian Stock”

 

·         The researcher Hadeer Motwaly Rashad

 

The research title:

 

“The relationship between the characteristics of corporate governance mechanisms and disclosure of the fundamental weaknesses in the core control system”

 

·         The researcher Hala Abed el Monaim el Shihawy

 

The research title:

 

“Measuring accounting disclosure about financial risk and its impact on the evaluation of financial performance of the companies”

 

Over three hours, staff members discuss the presented researches and they are:

As well, administrators and assistant lecturers discuss the researchers and the discussion has resulted in some amendments, questions and recommendations presented a contribution from the discussants to enrich the scientific research for researchers including:

2)      The importance of adhering to the formal criteria and designing the study model

3)      The amendment in the formation of research address and designing study model

4)      The amendment in the conceptual framework and research plan
