The department's ambition is to graduate a creative student able to collect, summarize, represent and draw conclusions from the available data collection in an effort to overcome data problems across the sciences, from physics to social sciences, humanities, politics and business, in order to compete locally

The department seeks excellence by graduating qualified cadres of entrepreneurs with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities at a level compatible with the needs of the Labour market. It contributes to the development of human knowledge, its employment and its use in various administrative disciplines through the conduct of advanced scientific research in the fields of statistics and insurance. It also contributes to solving management problems facing the business and government sectors through the conduct of research and applied studies needed in various fields of production and services at the local level.
