The President witnesses the First Scientific Forum for the Graduation Projects of the students of the Faculty of Agriculture

Today, Monday, 4/7/2022, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky, President of the University, witnesses the work of the first scientific forum to discuss the graduation research of students of the Faculty of Agriculture at the university, in the presence of Prof. Hassan Younis, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abd El Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Prof. Ali Abu Shusha, former Vice President of the University, a number of deans of faculties, Prof. Dr. Yahya Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Dr. Mostafa Shalaby, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Education and Students’ Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ayman Abdel Dayem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, members of staff members and the assistant staff in the faculty, and a group of students.

The president praises the researches and projects submitted by the graduates in promoting scientific research and innovation, and stresses that the Faculty of Agriculture is the oldest faculty in the university, and that our main goal is to reach a complete system of educational aspects and that the university is keen to communicate with the outside world and graduate an agricultural engineer that conforms to the national academic standard standards, that meets the needs of the labor market locally and regionally in the fields of agricultural sciences, scientific research and the provision of community services.

Prof. Dr. Hassan Younis, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, explains the importance of cooperation and coordination between the various entities in the university to serve and highlight the role that each entity plays to support staff members and researchers to obtain funding and implement their own research projects, confirming that the university pays great attention to transforming promising ideas and researches into innovative products and services, which represent scientific solutions to the problems and challenges of the local community, thus achieving a knowledge-based economy. He also made it clear that the university spares no effort in supporting new research ideas by supporting researchers to obtain international funding, as well as through research projects funded by the university.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abed El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, praises the Faculty of Agriculture, whose scholars and graduates contributed to the agricultural renaissance in Egypt and various countries of the world and the renaissance of the university, within the framework of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to develop the education system and raise the level of Egyptian university graduates to keep pace with global graduates.
