Within the interest of the faculty for international cooperation with international universities and organizations  for scientific benefit and participation, the president prof Dr Maged el Kemary and the dean Prof Dr Atef Salem signed mutual cooperation agreement between university and Food and Agriculture Organization. From the side of organization, Prof Dr Abed el Salam Ahmed, the representative of regional organization office in Near East, signed the contract. On the other hand, Dr Ahmed Ali Mahmoud Saleh, the lecturer in poultry production department; general coordinator for agreement and contact point between the two sides notified that the aim is to support mutual cooperation between FAO and university and encourage cooperation among professors in different departments to exchange experience; participate experience between FAO and university in arid and semi-arid land reclamation; to achieve mutual agricultural development projects; to know different research projects who seek organization and university to apply it and provide financial sources for these projects.
