Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouki, President of Kafrelsheikh University, Prof. Dr. Yahya Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Prof. Dr. Rushdi El-Adawy, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, the Genetic Engineering and Tissue Culture Laboratory (GETCL), one of the leading laboratories in providing educational and research services, has been accredited from the National Accreditation Council (EGAC) in accordance with ISO 17025/2017 in the field of salmonella detection using polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) for food, feed and environmental samples.

On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Shousha, Director of the Laboratory, Prof. Dr. Antar Nasr Al-Banna, Technical Director of the Laboratory, and Prof. Dr. Mona Ali Farid, Quality Manager of the Laboratory, extend thanks and appreciation to the President of the University, the Dean of the College of Agriculture, and the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research for their continuous support and encouragement.
