The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary meets Xi Yue Wen, the Chinese Cultural consultant who comes today in a visit to Kafrelsheikh University to hold talks to strengthen the cultural and scientific cooperation between the university and the Chinese side. Prof Dr Maged el Kemary welcomes the Chinese cultural consultant, expressing his happiness for visiting Egypt and the university.

The president and the Chinese consultant inaugurate phonetics labs at Faculty of Languages. El Kemary says that Faculty of Languages is one of the most important theoretical faculties as it is the first faculty established in Delta region. This faculty is of great importance as languages have become a major requirement of the market now.

During the meeting, they do a survey to some faculties and meet the students such as Faculty of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Factory, Faculty of Fisheries, water Purification lab and also the university hospital in addition to Nano Technology and Sciences Institute as the Chinese cultural consultant says that what he has seen at Kafrelsheikh University does not exist anywhere in the world.

The president praises the strength of mutual relations between Egypt and China as the relationship between them is not born today as both of them have an ancient civilization and an honorable history, noting that the construction of Confucius Institute at Kafrelsheikh University will be the first fruits of successful cooperation between the two sides.

Otherwise, the Chinese cultural consultant Xi Yue Wen expresses his great happiness for his presence inside Kafrelsheikh University campus. Xi said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and China 60 years ago, these relations have been developing rapidly in different fields, especially since the two presidents Abed el Fattah el Sisi and Xi Jinping signed their agreement to promote the relations to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership.

 The Chinese cultural consultant stresses that Egypt has a great weight at the African, Middle East and Arab Levels and its role is influential and vital in all fields as well as being a state with a great civilization, adding that it is the only region that is experiencing a varied cultural and artistic momentum. It is wonderful to hold cooperation agreements and scientific partnership with Kafrelsheikh University, which occupies a prestigious international status despite its recent inception.
