The main goal of the robot is to facilitate the process of delivering papers and documents between different buildings on the university campus. The project relies on artificial intelligence techniques. The robot is operated by a dedicated web application that was also developed as part of the project. The project uses two main models to achieve its goals. Firstly, machine learning model is used to determine the ideal location for the robot to stand based on the map of the area and environmental factors. The model collects data and analyzes it to determine the appropriate standing locations for the robot based on previous experience and variables such as distance, street width, and traffic movement. Secondly, a computer vision model is used to read signs and signals on the roads such as turning right, turning left, stopping, and pedestrian sign. This model helps the robot improve its performance and make the right decisions while navigating on the campus.
