The Faculty of Artificial Intelligence participated within a student delegation from Kafr El-Sheikh University in the Leaders Preparation Camp in Helwan, under the slogan “Sand”, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the leadership of Dr. Karim Hammam, Director of the Institute, and the supervision of Dr. Hossam El-Din Mustafa El-Sharif, and Dr. Abdel-Moneim El-Gilani, the two vice-presidents of the institute, during the period from Saturday, February 18 to Tuesday, February 21, 2023 AD.
This came in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, to welcome the university delegations. He also delivered a speech to the attendees of the youth of Egyptian universities, urging them to be positive in teaching, learning and self-training to become leading cadres that lead the country in the near future.
The university's participation came under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Razek Desouki, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aal, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rushdi El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and Adel Al-Naklawy, supervisor of the delegation members.
The participation comes from the keenness of the Kafrelsheikh University administration on the enlightening, cognitive, and vital role of the Leadership Development Institute in the system of the Egyptian state's interest in qualifying and training young people to enable them, discover their talents, and provide them with a lot of experience that develops their personalities, and their participation in the implementation of initiatives in a way that enables students to play a positive role in university life, integrating students in society and unleashing their energies, which leads to deepening belonging to the homeland.
The forum included many lectures on self-development and honorable sports models, and others on the role of leaders in confronting abnormal ideas. The institute’s management organized the attendance of the regiment in the Egyptian youth team’s match with the Mozambique national team at Cairo International Stadium.
