The Executive Committee for Information Technology Training of the Supreme Council of Universities holds its Fourteenth Meeting at Kafrelsheikh University

 Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, receives Dr. Mohamed Hasan Jad Allah, Director of the Central Unit for Information Technology Training at the Supreme Council of Universities, and the team of the Central Unit for Information Technology Training at the Supreme Council of Universities, to hold its fourteenth meeting at the Faculty of Computers and Information, under the patronage of Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, and Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and General Supervisor of the University’s Development Sector, and under the supervision of Dr. Amr Abu Hani, Executive Director of Information and Supervisor of the Central Training Unit at the University, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Dr. Osama Abu Saada, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and the teamwork of the Central Training Unit at Kafrelsheikh University.

During his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouki, President of the University, welcomes the members of the committee at the university, stressing the university’s keenness on the importance of digital transformation and that the university is at the forefront of Egyptian universities in this regard, reviewing the university’s plan towards digital transformation and implementing systems in order to transform into a smart university, in implementation of the strategy and vision of Egypt 2030. In this regard, the President confirms that the central unit has been equipped for training in information systems and technology at the latest technical and technological level, mechanizing the services provided, and providing training courses on the basics of digital transformation and the use of advanced and sophisticated information systems and electronic applications, empowering the trainee with high professionalism at the hands of professional training cadres in accordance with international scientific and technical standards, and following up on electronic tests.

The President also stresses the university’s keenness to implement the Fundamentals of Digital Transformation Certificate since its accreditation by the Supreme Council of Universities in September 2020, and its leadership among Egyptian universities in the total number of trainees for the Fundamentals of Digital Transformation Certificate, stressing that the political leadership pays great attention to digital transformation in the field of higher education, so the university seeks with all its capabilities to raise the efficiency of its information infrastructure and automate electronic tests.

Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, stresses the university’s keenness during the past year to cancel waiting lists, whether for entering training, exams, or receiving certificates. He praises the cooperation and continuous support between the Central Training Unit of the Supreme Council of Universities and Kafrelsheikh University. He also praises the teamwork of the Central Training Unit at the university.

 

In conclusion, the teamwork of the central unit for training in information systems and technology at the Supreme Council of Universities is honored, and the university shield is given to Dr. Mohammed Hasan Jad Allah, director of the central unit for training in information systems and technology at the Supreme Council of Universities.
