Mission

The mission of the Surgery Department is to

develop a diverse academic community that

encourages exemplary human qualities in order

that the art and science of veterinary surgery may

be imparted to students, expanded by research,

and extended to the public for the benefit of

animal and human health to meet the changing

needs of Kafrelsheikh, Egypt, and the world..l.l

 

 Objectives

The aim of the program is to gain first-hand experience of scientific

research, provide graduates the opportunity to develop communication

skills, provide graduates the opportunity to develop teaching skills,

demonstrate an awareness of the connections between disciplines, and

develop the ability to engage critically with scientific literature

 

ü Allow graduate to create new knowledge and understanding in Surgery, anesthesiology and Radiology through the process of research and inquiry.

ü Enable graduate to achieve competency in modern technology

ü Provide the graduate with the opportunity to develop communication skills, recent techniques and tools in the field of Veterinary Surgery and experience of scientific research skills.

ü Giving the graduate the ability to be creative to advance Veterinary Surgery through new scientific research.

ü Enable graduate to achieve capability in modern technology to develop practical research project.

ü Demonstrate an awareness of the connections between disciplines and develop the ability to engage critically with scientific literature and to critically review and present their own research data for the improvement of the Veterinary Surgery.

ü Have the ability of data statistical analysis, results interpretation and dissertation, presentation skills.

ü Exhibit awareness about current Veterinary Surgery and mastering the identification of problems and finding solutions based on sound scientific research concepts by effective utilization of the available resources in addition to improving as well as offering new resources.

ü Guarantee of veterinary professional practice regulations and ethics in the field of Veterinary Surgery.
