Vision
To reach the Department of Anatomy and Embryology of the Faculty
of Veterinary Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, to local, regional
and global leadership in the field of Veterinary Anatomy and
Embryology, achieving the ability to excel and compete in the field of
applied research.
Mission
The Department of Anatomy and Embryology of the Faculty of
Veterinary Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University is committed to
keeping up with scientific development and providing modern
educational programs to qualify the student to comprehend laboratory
and clinical studies and participate effectively in community service
to be a distinguished veterinarian.
Objectives
The Department aims to keep up with everything new and advanced
in the different branches of Anatomy through:
1. Providing the student with a high and standard level of basic
scientific knowledge in the field of specialization.
2. Understanding the fundamental principles of studying veterinary
anatomy and the various areas related to it.
3. Building scientific expertise according to a scientific approach
that opens up horizons for creativity and development in the field of
specialization.
4. Consolidating the process of critical thinking and self-learning for
the student to enhance their scientific abilities.
5. Developing the students’ abilities to research, analyze, and
deduce.
6. Supporting and documenting scientific links with scientific
institutions at Egyptian, Arab, and foreign universities.
7. Establishing communication bridges with other departments in the
faculty that benefit from the educational outputs of the department
(such as histology, physiology, surgery, obstetrics, internal medicine,
poultry and fish) to identify the actual needs of the students from the
courses taught by the department.
8. Developing mechanisms for continuous updating of curricula and
educational programs.
9. Striving to develop the teaching and research staff by sending
missions abroad.
10. Contributing with other faculty units in developing
mechanisms to ensure the quality of the educational process.
11. Providing distinguished postgraduate programs that contribute
to preparing creative students.
12. Encouraging postgraduate students to innovate and master the
methods of rigorous scientific research.
13. Participating in scientific research and studies that serve the
implementation of the faculty’s research plan.
