·        The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, established in 2017, aiming to be the largest provider of cardiothoracic surgery services in Kafr elsheikh governorate and Egypt. For this purpose, we planned to train more than a generation of surgeons, nurses and technicians and to conduct research and work closely with various health units as well as professional and community organizations in Egypt, nationally and internationally to achieve this primary goal.

·        The department is concerned with providing the newest innovations in cardiothoracic surgery including minimally invasive cardiac surgery, endoscopy and VATS techniques.
