Welcome to the Faculty of Commerce! I am thrilled that you have chosen to become part of our community, whether as a student, faculty or staff member, or a partner in our work. One of the first things you will discover is that all of us here share the mission of improving education.

What follows are my reflections from listening to the dreams of our faculty of commerce community. This is the vision I see coming to life over the next decade—the new heights of excellence for us to attain.

Academic excellence and classroom culture, mental health, resilience, and our creative& entrepreneurial culture, international campuses and our global culture , engagement and our alumni culture, engagement and community culture , fundraising, endowment, and our giving culture , a community of belonging and a culture of marketing.

This . . . is a bold vision. Some may question whether it is achievable, but from my vantage point, I'm convinced it is. Kaferelsheikh University is distinctive. We bring something to higher education that no other university in the nation does. The development of brilliant leaders of character, courage, and creativity. Kaferelsheikh University makes a promise—and we're committed to keeping that promise. Our promise is to provide a pioneer world-class faculty, and re-engineering the future of learning .

In order to make good on that promise, we have to pursue this vision. And we have to pursue it together. I hope you will join me in the pursuit of this bold vision. Together we can see Kaferelsheikh University become the premier, Fourth Generation University in the world.

We know that the opportunities afforded by a good education are critical to fostering thriving individuals and communities as well as addressing pressing challenges in the Egypt and around the world.

During your time at faculty of commerce, we will help prepare you to become the future leaders, scholars, and innovators who will expand educational opportunity, enhance academic achievement, and improve student supports. You will be exposed to rigorous research and innovative ideas by our faculty and engage in discussions and debates of how to best to achieve the goal of educating all students. With each step we take together, we move closer to meeting the aspiration to help all learners reach their full potential.

You came to Faculty of Commerce with a passion to contribute to the world through education, and during your time here, I encourage you to bring your ideas, observations, and questions. You will leave here with the knowledge, skills, and relationships that will empower you to make meaningful change in the lives of students of all ages. I hope this is only the beginning of what will be a long and fruitful relationship — one in which you will stay connected long after you have left faculty of commerce.
